Construction:
* Made from round white cedar stock, air-dried peeled and ready to stain.
* 6" nominal diameter posts, 4" diameter rails and 3" diameter spindles.
* Diameter tolerances as +/- 1/2".
* Standard posts: 96" support, 48" stair for field fitting, 48" notched for
rim joist mounting and 40" for floor surface mounting.
* Horizontal rail sections are assembled to finished length with tenon rail
ends for fitting into included posts or over-length square cut rail ends to
be field fit between existing posts.
* Stair rail sections are assembled at the respective angle with over-length
rail ends for field fitting.
* Maximum horizontal rail section length is 10'-0" long. (includes tenons)
* Stairways exceeding 9'-4" require an intermediate post.
* Stair rail sections over 8'-0" long are broken down for shipping.
* Assembled stair rail sections are available for stairways up to a maximum
incline of 45 degrees.
Ordering Guidelines:
To receive a free quote or place an order for your railing system, follow the steps listed below (refer to the sample diagrams as needed):
* Draw a clear sketch of the deck, porch, loft, etc. . . Provide
accurate dimensions. The railing system will be manufactured to the
dimensions you provide. Indicate the measurements as follows (refer to diagram A).
a) Corner to corner when posts are provided with railing.
b) Dimension between existing posts.
c) Angles of corners other than 90 degrees.
d) At walls indicate if post is desired or not.
* Provide the dimensions for each stairway (refer to diagram B). Indicate stair angle, dimensions requested and whether rail is needed on one or both sides of stairway.
